Anna Feeney, LMHC, MT-BC
Welcoming New Clients
(Individuals, Children, Teens, and Adults)
Hello, I’m Anna! I’ve been a Board-Certified Music Therapist since 2018, and a Mental Health Counselor since 2023. I currently work mostly with individual clients who are dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, and a variety of other concerns. In the past, I have also done clinical work with populations including: inpatient mental health, addictions/detox, children and adults with developmental disabilities, older adults with dementia, and hospice/end of life care.
I tend to take a person-centered, humanistic approach to therapy. My practice is firmly based on the philosophy that you’re the expert in your own life and you have an inherent capacity for healing and growth. My goal is to be an empathetic, nonjudgmental presence to help you feel heard, understood, and accepted. My intention is to provide a space for you to begin cultivating a life path that brings you more satisfaction and aligns with your own values by helping you feel more empowered to take the steps you need to take to get there.
I was drawn to this work because I think therapy could actually change the world! When we as individuals work to better ourselves and hold ourselves accountable, there can be a ripple effect that touches others around us, helping to motivate them to heal and improve their own lives, and in turn making our world a kinder place with a greater sense of community.
When I’m outside the therapy office, I love to spend my time crocheting, making music, checking out a new coffee shop, and spending time with my husband and dog.
